Located on the south end of Franklin, TN, is the new Berry Farms mixed use community. And, in its Town Center, residents and visitors will find the Benchmark Sport Pub + Eatery. The restaurant is a second location for its local owners, who bring the flavor of their popular Benchmark Bar and Grill on Nashville’s historic 2nd Avenue to the area. MTLC was proud to take on this restaurant build-out, constructing a modern, yet welcoming environment to enjoy a meal and catch the day’s games.

On one corner of the busiest intersection in five counties now sits Dickson Corner Marketplace. This Class A retail development drew countless inquiries from area residents, as well as commitments from AT&T and Marco’s Pizza while underway. The people of Sunset Hills Baptist Church want their visitors to feel at home as soon as they drive up. So, when they sought a general contractor for ground-up construction of their new place of worship, MTLC was up to the task. Our team started with site work and progressed to the church’s shell and interior, all the while working to maintain the church’s comforting quality and, at the same time, to deliver a state-of-the-art facility.

Just south of Nashville, TN, a 76-acre, abandoned rock quarry found new life as an event venue like none the area’s ever seen. The owners’ vision was for it to be a distinctive destination for weddings, corporate events, live music and more. And, MTLC was fortunate to help them realize their concept, with our team chosen to complete ground-up construction of the venue’s two facilities.
One was named Graystone Quarry’s Gathering Hall – a two-level, 10,000 sq. ft. event space featuring 30-foot wood ceilings, beams and a towering, two-story fireplace. The other, the Hillside Pavilion, spans 4,200 sq. ft., while still offering soaring ceilings and slide-away glass sides for indoor/outdoor capabilities.

The building located at 609 Lafayette Street in the SoBro district of Nashville, TN, has been different things, but never anything near as posh as what it is now. City Winery, whose roots are in NYC and Chicago, brought something new to the city, and MTLC had the honor of helping. Opened in 2017, Earnest Bar & Hideaway (formerly Hemingway’s Bar and Hideaway) isn’t just a restaurant and bar, though it was fast recognized for its food and drink offerings. It’s also a haven for all who visit, and that made its location in the historic Houston Station building in Nashville, TN, the ideal setting for what the owner envisioned. It also made it a fun restaurant build-out for the MTLC team, who helped transform the industrial space to a warm, welcoming and functional environment.

It didn’t take long for Burger Republic to become one of middle Tennessee’s most beloved burger, beer and shake destinations. And, MTLC is proud to have been chosen as the general contractor for its last three dining hotspots in Nashville, Mt. Juliet and Murfreesboro.
